HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great holiday season.
Wednesday Fred & Sidonia (Double Trouble) took Paul, Me and 12 other people to Bakers Bay. The weather seemed maybe a little iffy but turned out great.
Bakers Bay is a new Resort/marina that is not quite finished. It is a real upscale place. Lots for homes start -- start at 4 million dollars -- American dollars. Just a little steep for our pockets that would be after our ship comes in. Everything is first class with a beautiful ocean view.
We had lunch in what will be somebody's home -- now there were about 100 people having lunch there and plenty of room. The restaurant will be 10,000 square feet when it is finished. We all enjoyed our lunches.
The trip up and back was very nice.
Thursday -- New Year Eve Day. I ended the decade right with a 4 miles run.
Dock 4 had a progressive dinner that ended up with everybody on John Henry. I baked a ham. Paul went missing about 9PM. I came home and found him in bed -- for the night. I was not about to miss my New Years Eve so I went back to John Henry.
Here in the Abacos they always do a nice job with fireworks. From John Henry we watched the displays at Sea Spray, Hopetown and Marsh Harbour. Also someone here at Boat Harbor set off some small ones.
At midnight we had champagne, blew conch horns and other little horns. Several boats blew their BIG horns. Wink had music BLASTING. It was a beautiful night with the full moon. Friends took their dinghy out and said it was fabulous on the Sea Of Abaco with a clear view of the bottom also -- lots of star fish.
Today we went to Susan's for a new Year day party. We played some cards and watched football.I took appetizers and green beans seasoned with the ham from yesterday
Paul & I were the first to leave.
My wish for you all is a happy and healthy new year.

Baker's Bay is a real terrible place...it is ruining the reef and the island environment. It disrespects the local's rights.
