Shuttle launch

Janet & Ken came to Florida for a visit. We went to Titisville to see the shuttle launch.
Even though it was out of sight in 5 minutes it was still worth the trip from Green Cove Springs to Titisvlle.
On the way home to Green Cove Springs we stopped at my favorite restaurant in Daytona Beach- Aunt Catfishes.
Janet & Ken stayed here 4 days then headed north. They made a brief stop in North Carolina before hurrying home to be there when we got to Columbus.
Paul & I had our physicals and got great reports.
Paul flew back to Florida while I stayed to go to Pittsburgh to see Kris &John,(daughter-in-law & Grandson) Wheeling to see Roger (brother) and Moundsville to spend some time with my Mom who just turned 94 and looks great.
Paul &I are both back in Green Cove after a quick trip to Sarasota to take Wilma, John Henry, down to pick up their car. John Henry came in to Green Cove last week. Wink and Wilma plan to take Emma & Amber, their granddaughters on a car trip.
We are planning to leave fo Brunswick Ga next week. Our boat insurance requires us to be north of Florida by June 30 for hurricaine season.

Ken and the Manatee

Janet & Ken came to visit. We went to see the shuttle launch at Titisville. That was something I have wanted to do for a long time and I was not disappointed! Janet is going to send me the pictures she took and I will post some.
We took a boat trip to a local restaurant. We usually see alligators there but this time there was a Manatee that wanted his belly rubbed.Ken is shown petting him(her?)

Great Harbour N37 Carolyn Ann

As we came passed Jacksonville Landing our friends Joe & Kathy Pica called us on the VHF. We decided to stop there for the night and had a nice visit. We had not seen them for a couple of years. They just took delivery of their GH37 last fall.

This is my usual crossing photo. I wish it was indicative of our complete crossing.
