Visitors were invited to join in. The young ladies helped the visitors plat the Maypole. They stepped out to let the visitors "unplat" the Maypole. After they made a complete mess of things the young ladies came back to straighten out the mess.

Maypole dance
The festival featured a Maypole dance both days. The talented young ladies platted the Maypole then unplatted it.-- Made it look easy.
