FAY

We are setting here in Brunswick, GA keeping a close eye on FAY.
It now looks like all we will get is some heavy rain. This sure has been a screwy one.
We-- we Paul is in school every day- I have been watching the weather channel on TV and several different weather sources on the Internet. When Paul gets home he turns weather works on.
I am one who likes new adventures but this is one adventure I think I could die happy if I missed it.
The past 3 days I hurry to go run because I think the rain will be here shortly. We have had some showers but nothing much YET. The highest wind we have seen is the upper 30s.
TV 2 from Atlanta is here. I ask them if they knew something I didn't But they said they were here just in case.
Today is Paul's last day of Captain's class. He has his test this weekend but at least he will be home with me tomorrow when the worst of Fay should pass by us.
I'll keep you posted.

Brunswick Georgia

Gosh how time flies. It seems only yesterday I posted the pictures and was going to do a posting to go with them soon - I guess it is soon.
We are in Brunswick Landing Marina Brunswick Ga. We arrived here July 1. We decided to stay here for the summer mainly because of fuel prices. We did not have any big plans and it just seemed prudent to stay here and finally get some of our MANY long overdue projects done.
Our friends Fred & Judy on Amarse are here and we have been doing a lot with them-- that was until they left for Peru for a month. We were walking, all 4 of us, every morning at 8:30 and every evening at 8.
Paul & I have tried to continue it some and I am now running when Paul & I don't walk.
We rented a car to go to Melbourne Beach to visit Paul & Connie Murgo at their condo.
We had a great time but the big thrill for me was getting to see a sea turtle crawl up the beach and dig her nest. I have been interested in Sea turtles since our Graham family vacations in North Carolina.
Several of our RMHYC friends have their boats here and we have enjoyed some cook outs with them.
Paul decided to get his Captains License. He has 3 weekends of all day classes and 2 weeks of evening classes then a weekend to take his exams -- he has added the Master license also. My brother ask if I would have to salute him after he got his Captain's license -- no I am the Admiral but after he get gets his Masters license do I have to bow? So much for his projects.
Judy & I went shopping at Michael's twice and then ordered a bunch of neat jewelry supplies on line. We are well stocked to have a great winter making jewelry.
Wilma and I ordered a basket making kit also. I am set for the winter now if I could just get some of my much needed summer projects done.
We have ordered the fabric for redo our salon but can't begin to come to agreement on the carpeting.
We plan to be here in Brunswick until early to mid September --depending on the hurricanes. We will go back to Green Cove Spring to get ready to go back to the Bahamas Nov 1.
I guess that brings us up to date.
