Wednesday March 31

Wow it has been a long time and SOOOO much has happened since I last posted. I will give a brief summary.
We finished up our time at Boat Harbour with a VERY busy few weeks. I was exhausted.
We came to Pappy's Land ( PEACE!!!) on March 16. Roger & Jeanie are wonderful hosts.
We have been active since we got here but NOT hectic.
We have been out to eat several times, had dinner at Pappy's Land, had Roger & Jeanie to dinner on Odyssey but still all very relaxing.
Paul has been out to get get lobster 3 times. Lobster season ends today so he made one last outing --his most successful one --yum good eating!
Last week we took the dinghy to Marsh Harbour and joined 55 friends for a trip to FoxTown at the far North end of Abaco. It was a fun time EXCEPT the car we were driving had 2 flat tires and that was a big mess but I am trying to erase that from what was otherwise a good memory. We had some of the very best conch I have ever eaten. The black hole and the blue hole were really neat to see again ( we went last year).
I have only been out to run once since I have been here --it is evident in trying to get into my clothes -- I think they must have shrunk.
A group went to Dock & Dine today for a farewell lunch for Roger & Jeanie who left for Anacortes Washington today. I am sorry the weather was not real great for their last few weeks. But we did have a few nice days. We took Coho to Hopetown Harbour Lodge poolside for lunch. We had a dock party with friends. Jeanie went swimming one day while I played "life guard". The water is still just a little chilly for me.
Paul & I are both looking forward to the water and temperatures warming up a little so we can swim almost every day.
Jeanie gave me copies of a bunch of pictures she took and I promise I will post some.
I also have a bunch on my camera.
All for now I will catch up soon

Saturday March 6

I guess I'll start with today and go backwards as far as I can remember.
I am starting to get my income tax ""stuff" together -- I am using every excuse to procrastinate.
A number of boats from here took their boats to Guana for the Barefoot Man. Most of them came home today. Paul & I "helped" them in.
Yesterday Paul & I went with several others on Touralou to Guana. It was a wonderful trip on such a beautiful boat. I took a bunch of pictures. I will get them posted someday -- I am not really a procrastinator I just put things off.
Paul & I went to visit Jim & Iris Barkley at their beautiful rental home then the 4 of us went to Nippers for the Barefoot Man concert. It was fun.By having it on Friday afternoon there were less people meaning a more manageable crowd. There were about 75 of our RMHYC friends there and we just had a real good time.
Paul & I took the ferry back to Marsh Harbour.
Wednesday I did not feel good. I had a sore throat. Paul said that was the start of the flu so we cancelled our reservation a Orchid Bay for the weekend.
Thursday came and I was fine -- not even a sore throat.
I am working on my basket #2.
